Bug fixes
Winmore-622: Address the failure of recompute ad-hoc formula columns
Existing Issue
Ad-hoc formula columns fail to recompute after operand field re-computation with manually changed currency segment lanes while removing or inheriting ad-hoc segmentation currency.
Resolution
This release resolves the issue where ad-hoc formula columns were failing to recompute after operand field re-computation, specifically in cases involving manually changed currency segment lanes during the removal or inheritance of ad-hoc segmentation currency. Formulas will now be recomputed successfully in related fields while ensuring the "recompute formula" checkbox is checked and performing the inherit or remove ad hoc segment operation.
Enablement
No specific enablement for this bug fix. All RateAI customers will get this in the release.
Winmore-644: Data in the formula field failed to update when the operand field is updated through remapping
Existing Issue
Users experienced a discrepancy where data within the formula field failed to update when the operand field underwent updates via remapping processes.
Resolution
This update resolves the issue pertaining to data inconsistencies in the formula field. Specifically, the formula field will now update accordingly when changes are made to the operand field through remapping procedures.
Enablement

Winmore-689: Retaining user entered studio formula as-is
Existing Issue
When users added a studio formula and navigated to the Price Inspector formula builder, unwanted spaces were displayed in the syntax. Consequently, the user-entered formula was overridden in the Internal Pricing Template and saved incorrectly.
Resolution
We have implemented measures to ensure that the user-entered formula is retained. Now, users can navigate between the studio formula and Price Inspector formula builder without encountering unwanted spaces in the syntax or risking the override of their entered formula in the Internal Pricing Template.
Enablement

Winmore-899: Even after formula recomputation, formula results were not getting reflected within the PI table lanes
Existing Issue
The updated column formula results are not getting updated within the PI table lanes even after the completion of PI level recomputation.
Resolution
This issue occurs during the cloning of the organization from one environment to another. We now handle this scenario to ensure that updated column formula results are correctly updated within the PI table lanes post-completion of PI level recomputation.
Enablement
No specific enablement for this bug fix. All RateAI customers will get this in the release.
Winmore-926: On Shipper file import, handle the studio formulas in Pricing Inspector (PI) tables and accurately display 'recompute necessary' icons for the lanes
Existing Issue
Following a new shipper import, the studio formula results are not updated in the PI table lanes. Additionally, the "recompute necessary" icon is not displayed for the lanes, despite the studio formula data not being updated inside the PI table lanes for the new shipper import.
Resolution
We've fixed the issue where studio formula results weren't updating in Pricing Inspector (PI) table lanes after a new shipper import. Additionally, we've ensured the "recompute necessary" icon appears when studio formula data isn't updated inside the PI table lanes post-import. These improvements ensure accurate and timely updates to studio formula results within PI table lanes, enhancing overall data integrity.

Winmore-1172: Difference Grid was not getting displayed during second Shipper file import
Existing Issue
After the completion of mapping during the second import of a shipper file, the difference grid is not being displayed.
Resolution
We've addressed the issue where the difference grid was failing to display during the second import of a shipper file. Now, users can expect the difference grid to appear, providing valuable insights into the changes between the original and imported data sets.
Enablement
No specific enablement for this bug fix. All RateAI customers will get this in the release.
Enhancements/New Features
Winmore-563: Capability to configure column visibility management type from ‘Studio’
Feature Overview
This release introduces enhanced column visibility management capabilities in Price Inspector, offering greater flexibility and control over column visibility settings. With this update, administrators can now choose between Admin and Local User settings to determine how column visibility updates are applied across Pricing Template instances.
Feature Description
Configuring column visibility management within Price Inspector involves the following steps
Steps |
Description |
---|---|
Column Visibility Management Settings |
Administrators can access an additional setting in the Studio's Record Builder to configure column visibility management for specific Pricing templates. This submenu, titled "Column Visibility Settings," enables administrators to define how column visibility updates will be handled. |
Column Visibility Management Type |
Administrators have the option to choose between two management types: Admin and Local User. Selecting the Admin option ensures that column visibility updates apply universally across all users and instances of the Price Inspector table. The Local User option retains the current behaviour, where updates are specific to individual users and instances. |
Feedback/Confirmation Popup |
When the Admin option is chosen in Studio visibility settings, a confirmation popup is displayed to users when updating visibility settings via the widget/modal or column menu in Price Inspector. This popup informs users of the broader impact of their visibility updates across the system. |
Not in scope:
-
The feature excludes a combination of both Admin and User settings for column visibility management.
-
Visibility updates remain scoped at the record level, ensuring that changes made to one record do not affect others.
Feature Enablement
Settings are explained in the table above. RateAI Admin customers will get this in the release.
