RateAI Features
Feature # 1498 – Import Currency Exchange Rates as a Master
Feature Description
To accurately convert charges and rates across multiple currencies, RateAI requires users to upload exchange rates specific to each bid. While this approach offers significant flexibility by allowing users to set precise rates for each bid, it also increases the burden on users who need to provide these rates. To address this limitation, RateAI now supports the use of "global" exchange rates, relieving users from the need to provide exchange rates for each individual bid.
Feature Overview
To streamline bid processing, RateAI is introducing the ability to use global exchange rates as a default when no bid-specific exchange rates are provided. Users can still specify exchange rates for individual bids, which will take precedence over the global rates. If no bid-specific exchange rates are available, the system will automatically default to the global exchange rates.
Feature Enablement
As a pre-requisite for this feature, Formula Re-architecture must be enabled for your organization. Please contact Winmore if you wish to enable this feature.
Feature # 962 - Rounding Function for Currency Field
Feature Description
Currently in the application, there is no ability to properly format currency fields. With this new feature, users will now have the ability to perform rounding on currency fields to the preferred precision.
Feature Overview
In the application, users will be able to use the ROUND function both in the Studio formula or via the price inspector formula. This function behaves just like the ROUND function we currently have for decimals. Users can now use this function for currency fields.
Feature Enablement
This is automatically available for all organizations.
Feature # 2171 - Enable Recompute for Manual Blackout of a Cell
Feature Description
Currently, when a user selects a cell to be blacked out, they are not prompted to recalculate a formula. With this feature, users can opt to perform the formula recalculation when blacking out a cell. Note they can also do this at a later time as well.
Feature Overview
When a user selects a cell to be blacked out, they are prompted with a notification message. In other instances of blacking out when the notification message is presented, the user can recalculate formulas. This is currently not possible. With this feature the user will be prompted with the screen as shown below.
If the user selects to have the recalculation done at this point, the system will recalculate all formulas associated with that field.
Note: Formula recalculation is a function that is enabled for most organization. If you are new to this, please note that that application has a process that automatically updates formulas without having a user to trigger it. The automatic updates are only possible to template values changes. When a formula or a black out condition is changed, the system needs the user to trigger the calculation.
Feature Enablement
Formula Re-architecture needs to be enabled for this to be used. Please contact Winmore if you have any questions or concerns.
Feature # 2068 - Enable Manual Column Blackout to a Filtered Data Set
Feature Description
Currently in the application, there are numerous methods for blacking out cells. This new feature allows you to apply a column blackout to just the rows that are in the filtered set.
Feature Overview
User will now have the ability to filter a list of lanes in a price inspector and apply a column blackout to just those rows. In the previous implementation, you have to blackout the entire row, via a manual mechanism.
All previous condition around blacking out cells are retained with this feature. If Shipper-provided blackouts are enabled, they take the highest precedent, the rule-based and then manual. This means user can remove these manual set columns, but cannot remove Shipper-provided blackouts or Rule-based blackouts.
Feature Enablement
Blackout Feature needs to be enabled for this to be used. Please contact Winmore if you have any questions or concerns.
Feature # 2125 - Process Shipper Blackout Change Via Import
Feature Description
Currently in the application, if a shipper changes blackout columns/cells/rows the system will only recognize those changes if another changes has occurred in the file. With this feature, the application can add or remove shipper blackout based on just changes to the shipper blackout fields.
Feature Overview
When user needs to augment blackout conditions provided by their customer (shipper), the application will now be able to apply those changes to a files that has no other augmentation. This should reduce the need to manually augment additional blackout columns or manually “cause” a condition in the shipper file to read the blackout changes. Users now will be able to import a file with just those changes and the system will properly interpret the changes.
Feature Enablement
Blackout Feature needs to be enabled for this to be used. Please contact Winmore if you have any questions or concerns.
Other Features
Feature # 2689 – Redirect to Org-specific SSO Log-in page
Feature Description
Customers with SSO. When a user attempts to access a page on the platform without an active session, they will be redirected to the standard login page. However, many customers use company-specific Single Sign-On (SSO) pages that leverage their enterprise credentials. Previously, these customers had to manually navigate to their specific SSO page after being redirected to the standard login page, adding an extra step to the login process.
This feature addresses this limitation by automatically redirecting users to their customer-specific SSO login page, if available. This improvement streamlines the login process for SSO users, enhancing the overall user experience
Feature Overview
When the system redirects a user to the login page, it will use a URL parameter to determine whether to redirect to a customer-specific login page or default to the standard login page. This enhancement ensures users land on the appropriate login page, streamlining access to the application and improving the user experience.
Feature Enablement
In order to properly use this feature, the URLs in email notifications must be updated to contain an additional parameter that identifies the organization associated with the request.
Feature # 2583 – Retain Line Breaks in String Fields in Emails
Feature Description
Customers use email to notify other team members about critical items they need to focus on. To make the most of these notifications, the email templates must be readable; however, the application does not properly render line breaks in paragraphs, making emails difficult to read.
Feature Overview
Certain text fields contain multi-line comments with specific instructions for users to complete tasks or important terms and conditions for a bid. Users often include line breaks to separate paragraphs, enhancing readability and clarity. Previously, when this data was rendered in emails, the line breaks were removed, making the text less readable and aesthetically pleasing. This feature addresses this issue by preserving the line breaks provided by users, ensuring that the formatted text remains intact in email communications.
Feature Enablement
No additional configuration is required to enable this feature.
Feature #2549 - Enhanced Port name Prediction when brackets are present in Port data
Feature Description
Content within brackets was disregarded and not used to identify a location entry in the ports master data in previous versions of ML transformations.
e.g. ‘Tianjin (Xingang), China’ was interpreted as ‘Tianjin’.
With this fix ‘Tianjin (Xingang), China’ is properly interpreted as ‘Tianjin Xingang Pt’
This fix is part of the ML transformations v3 improvements.
Feature Overview
ML transformation is now reading all geo attributes of the location string.
The results are matched against the ports, state and country master data.
Business priority is applied to identify the most probable port location, in case of multiple results.
Feature Enablement
This feature is automatically enabled as part of ML transformations v3.
