Rate AI
Feature # 3593 - Tab-Based Navigation for In-line Editing
Feature Description
In the previous release, Rate AI introduced Inline Editing, the ability to update data directly onto Price Inspector in real-time. Rate AI continues to build on the inline-editing capabilities by introducing Tab-based navigation. Users can now move seamlessly from one editable cell to the next using the Tab key, streamlining the data entry process even further. This improvement not only speeds up the editing process but also enhances the user experience by reducing the time and effort required to update multiple fields.
Feature Overview
Users can now use the Tab button on their keyboard to move from one cell to the next editable cell in the row currently selected. Please note that once the user has reached the last editable cell in the row, pressing Tab has no impact on navigation.
Feature Enablement
This feature requires Inline Editing features to be enabled. Please contact Winmore if you have any questions or concerns.
Feature # 3699 - Improve Airport Code Transformations
Feature Description
Previously, the Data Transformation process would rely solely on IATA Code master data records when attempting to perform Airport Code lookups. In certain cases, this particular approach would cause certain locations to fail transformation as no direct hit was found. To improve Transformation accuracy, RateAI will consider additional alternatives once all possible IATA codes are exhausted.
Feature Overview
During the Import Shipper File process, Rate AI will attempt to find matching IATA Code records when attempting to identify origin and destination airport codes. If it fails to find a valid match, it will expand its knowledge set by also considering UNLOC records where the function flag is marked as “Airport”.
Feature Enablement
This feature requires specific Feature Flags to be enabled. Please contact Winmore if you have any questions or concerns.
Feature # 2179 - Enhanced Shipper File Import Error Handling
Feature Description
The Shipper file import process has been updated to enhance error message clarity and include error codes for system-related issues.
Feature Overview
When importing a shipper's Excel file into Winmore, users must map the columns to the platform's defined template. This process can fail due to various reasons, often related to file format, mapping issues or system specific issues. Previously, the error messages associated with these failures were not user-friendly, making it difficult for users to understand and address the root cause.
With this feature, error messages related to file format and mapping issues have been significantly improved. Users can now easily understand the errors and correct them before re-processing the file, reducing the time and effort required for a successful import.
For errors that are system-related and beyond the user's control, the error messages now include specific error codes. These codes can be reported to customer support, enabling the engineering team to quickly identify and resolve the underlying issue, thereby streamlining the troubleshooting process and improving the overall user experience..
Feature Enablement
Automatically enabled as part of the 2024.5 release.
Data Import
Feature # 3080 - Support Replace in Data Import
Feature Description
Today, users have to jump through several hoops in order to fully replace a current set of Master Data records (whether its Transit Times, Rates, etc.). Doing so requires downloading existing records, tweaking files to mark them for deletion, running an Update Data Import, and finally, importing new data to complete the task.
This feature aims to simplify the process by introducing a "Replace" option. With just one step, you can completely overhaul all records of a given type. Simply upload your new data, and the "Replace" feature does the rest—seamlessly swapping out old records for new ones, all in one go.
Feature Overview
A new option will be added to Data Imports called “Replace” that will perform the following logic as part of a single transaction:
- Deactivates all records for that record type
- Creates new records per the updated file
Feature Enablement
Automatically enabled as part of the 2024.5 release.
