Get Where You’re Going
Winmore is designed to minimize your number of clicks to get the information you need. The screen is divided into three basic areas. The Main Menu on the left side always stays put, leaving your most used links handy. Depending on where you are in the application, a Secondary Menu will appear to give you more detailed options. The largest portion of the screen to the right is the contextual working area, containing your data, tasks, and conversations.
Main Menu
The top of the main menu contains links to your profile settings, creation of new records and activities, and Global Search. Access Home and Browse features via dedicated links, and beneath that are links to specific records. You can customize your Starred links for your most accessed records. Below the Starred section, Winmore recommends records to you based on your activity in the system, and provides a list of your 10 most recently accessed records and Insights.
Getting Your Attention
In the Main Menu, records that may require your action appear in bold white font, which indicates there’s new activity on the record since you viewed it. A green circle means that someone has @mentioned you in the conversation on the record.
Talking on the Record
In this case, Christoph wanted to hand off the opportunity to Kathy. Clicking on the record’s name in the Main Menu takes her to the Conversation on the “Nike International” opportunity record. She sees Christoph’s comment directed to her, and she can respond in the chat window to let him know she’ll take it from here.
