FAQ: When and how are records recommended to me?
Answer: Users will begin to receive recommended notifications only if 1.) they have visited the record in the past or 2.) they have been @-mentioned on the record. Once one of these two things has happened, the user will be notified each time there is a new Conversation post on that record. Those notifications will be visible in their Unread Messages menu as well highlighted under the Recommended section of the left navigation.
Note that having a role on the record will not result in receiving recommendations, unless you have specifically visited the record or been @-mentioned.

Mark as Read or Mute?
If you click Mark as Read, the notification will disappear from your unread messages screen as well as fall off of the Recommended menu. However, any new conversation posts will pop-up as a new notification and recommendation.
If you Mute the conversation, using the silence icon indicated below, you will no longer receive updates when information is posted to the conversation. If you should re-visit the record or be @-mentioned again, it will reinstate the notifications.
FAQ: Why am I receiving notifications for a record that I've never visited nor been @-mentioned upon? OR I muted a conversation, so why am I still receiving notifications?
Answer: Have you written into support@winmore.app recently? If so, it's likely that we've done some troubleshooting in your account and clicked on a record to test something. When we did so, we engaged that follow functionality. We are sorry! But hopefully in doing so, we reached a resolution for you. Please go ahead and Mute that conversation again.
If you haven't written into support@winmore.app recently, please do so now and we'll take a look to see what's happening.
