This document describes the processes Winmore has defined to enable our customers to extract our customer’s personal data from systems for which we are responsible. These data portability processes are defined in order that our customers may meet their data portability obligations.
General
Winmore processes data our customers enter into our products or instruct us to process on their behalf. Winmore's customers decide what to enter. Winmore generally has no knowledge about what is being stored. However, our understanding is that typically the information includes business-related information about our customers’ customers (e.g. names, business addresses, work phone numbers, work email addresses etc.), prospects and/or sales leads.
Data Export
Winmore allows our customers to export any data in a structured, commonly used and machine readable form, such as CSV files. The exported data should be considered “machine readable” because the information is structured so that software can extract specific elements of the data.
The essential process that enables our customers to extract our customers’ personal data from Winmore systems are by having our customers use the data export features of Winmore. Using these data export features, we expect our customers will be able to meet data portability obligations they may owe their customers or employees.
In the very unlikely event that one of our customer’s data portability obligations cannot be met using the data export features of Winmore, our customer must engage Winmore Support or Professional Services with extracting our customer’s personal data from systems for which Winmore is responsible.
